Beautiful Dental Veneers
Want to renew your smile without orthodontics or whitening? Or maybe you would prefer to repair chips or change the shape of your front teeth? Veneers offer a cosmetic enhancement that can resolve all of these problems with a single treatment plan.
What Are Dental Veneers?
Dental veneers are custom-designed to bond onto the front of your tooth and boost their visual appearance.
Much like a false nail is designed to cover the fingernail, except veneers are as thin as a contact. Created with ceramic materials, porcelain veneers provide a natural-looking cover that is largely stain resistant.
How Dental Veneers Work?
If your front teeth are yellowish, uneven, twisted, or have chips or cracks, this might be your solution. Dental veneers create a bright, white smile by wholly improving the appearance of your smile.
Because the veneers are only a cover, the degree to which they can make the teeth look straight depends on the alignment and bite of the patient. If the teeth are only slightly out of line, veneers may be able to provide an aesthetic solution.
Your Veneer Procedure At Hills Dental Design
After your initial consultation, we will discuss how veneers work and the implications of the procedure to ensure you are completely happy with your decision. Once you are happy with the decision and our dental practitioner has decided on the appropriate treatment plan, the treatment will likely carry out as follows:
The first stage involves the careful removal of a small amount of the enamel from the surface of the teeth. This is so there is enough space for the veneer to fit over the top without looking unnatural or disrupting your functionality.
After the teeth are prepared, we will carefully take a mould of the teeth to ensure the new veneer is accurately matched to your tooth and your desired smile.
Thanks to E4D technology available at Hills Dental Design, we can set your new veneers in the same day. This cuts away the waiting time for the newly designed veneers to return from a fabrication lab. What once took two visits weeks apart now takes a single trip to our Pennant Hills office. Carefully we will bond the new veneer to the teeth, creating a flawless and stain-resistant smile.
